EXPLORING NATURAL MYSTERY: KAMANA ONE - BY JON YOUNG

Exploring Natural Mystery - The Kamana Naturalist Training Program is a *four level independent study program that covers the naturalist background needed to engage in the wilderness arts, including holistic tracking, bird language, survival and native living skills, traditional herbalism, and naturalist mentoring. It is the ultimate blueprint for a student's time spent in the field and in conducting nature-related research. Students become confident naturalists, melding modern field ecology with the skills of a native scout. It was written by naturalist and tracker Jon Young (with author Tom Brown, Jr. as a consulting editor), who uniquely designed it to model the process in which Tom mentored him as a boy. Kamana is completed "at your own pace and at your own place." Kamana One: Exploring Natural Mystery is the first level and is a stand alone book. It contains the core curriculum of the Kamana Naturalist Training Program in a series of enjoyable, easy to complete exercises that help you explore the natural mysteries around you no matter where you are.

PATH OF THE NATURALIST: KAMANA TWO - BY JON YOUNG
INGWE - BY INGWE

Ingwe - born M. Norman Powell in 1914 of British ancestry - spent his childhood with the sons of warriors of an African tribe. From his boyhood friend, Endaka, Ingwe learned how to track, hunt - and most importantly - find spirituality in the wilderness. For the last sixty years, Ingwe has dedicated himself to revealing nature's truth to people all over the world. Ingwe is particularly interested in sharing himself with the youth of this world. Through this collection of short stories from his youth, Ingwe takes us on a deep, heartfelt journey of a white man's life among "his people" - the Akamba. It is a fantastic and true account of blood brotherhood, mystical leopards and three dimensional visions. The book is filled with the wonder of the African plains, where the elephant trumpeted the dawn, the leopard prowled the moon-lit night, the eagles flew against the blue of the sky, and as Ingwe says "I dreamt dreams that were so real, so vivid, that they were not dreams, they were visions." Through Ingwe's stories, listeners will find the purpose, commitment and love that lives within themselves.

ECHOES OF KENYA AND OTHER POEMS - BY INGWE

Ingwe is more than a poet. The man behind these poems, and hehind even the name Ingwe is more than most human beings could ever really know or truly understand. His worls is a world of sacred bridges that span universes of understanding. His motto, "We must learn to live fully in two worlds" is a theme of his life. How can one capture the true feelings of a great tracker, naturalist and indeed a true native soul? How can one transmit these feelings to a world that has forgotten that there is more than just modern life?
